Victoria Hospital Keighley,Silver Nurses badge

A superb Silver and enamel nurses badge from the Victoria Hospital Keighley. The central design features a Wolf's head in red enamel with the addition of a yellow snake ,associated with Medicine.This is based upon the arms of the Lupton Family, benefactors to a number of charities in Yorkshire.
Condition is very good with only minor enamel wear to the snake near the top.Pin and clasp have been professionally replaced to a high standard.Makers mark for Fattorini & Sons Bradford Hose,Birmingham.Silver hallmarks for F&S Birmingham 1931
