St Mary's Hospital Paddington,Large Nurses Badge

One of my favourite badges is this St Mary's "penny"!
A Lovely Large nurses badge from St Mary's Hospital Paddington.Nicknamed the St Mary's Penny,the badge's face features the Madonna and child from the Hospital's seal.the reverse bears the latin motto " Quodcunque Facere Potest Manus Instanter Operare" around the edge,this translates as"Whatever thy hand is able to ,do it earnestly" This badge is unnamed . Good condition with nice patina .Pin is good but rather stiff .Height 45mm
Always a popular badge and,like many, difficult to find
