A scarce seven sided chromed metal and enamel Mental Nurses badge for St Ebba's Hospital.One of the five mental and Mental subnormality Hospitals known as the Epsom Cluster. St Ebba's was originally an epileptic colony and and after periods of being an acute mental hospital it eventually catered for Mental Handicap patients.The design features a yellow patty cross in front of a tree(similar to that on the Long Grove badge)on a green background.Condition is good but with here small enamel chips to some corners.Pin and clasp is present.Named for G.Nystanga 1.2.71- 31.1.74.Height 28mm
