St Mary's Hospital Paddington,Large Nurses Badge and GNC pair

One of my favourite badges is the St Mary's "penny" and this pair of badges to the same nurse consist of a Penny and the matching GNC Badge
A Lovely Large nurses badge from St Mary's Hospital Paddington.Nicknamed the St Mary's Penny,the badge's face features the Madonna and child from the Hospital's seal.the reverse bears the latin motto " Quodcunque Facere Potest Manus Instanter Operare" around the edge,this translates as"Whatever thy hand is able to ,do it earnestly" This badge is named to D M Janes 1941-1946. Good condition with nice patina .Pin is good but rather stiff .Height 45mm
Along with this is a General Nursing Council for England & Wales.This is named for D M Janes SRN 13101424.11.44.This is Doris Miriam Janes who is shown as having trained at St Mary's.
