A trio of badges awarded to the same nurse during the 1950s and 60s.The first is a bronze pendant badge for the Dundee Royal Infirmary.The circular medal has a cross to the centre, with a voided surround.It is suspended from a pin back bar brooch bearing the motto Pro Aegris Et Laesis-For the Sick and Injured.Condition is good.Marked to the rear for E Copland 1956.Height 49mm,
The second item is a silver version of the same design.Also in good condition.Named to Euphemia Copland 1961.Hallmarks for WJD (William James Dingley) Birmingham 1955.I believe the silver version may be either a Sisters medal or a long service item for five years service.In view of the small number of the seen over the years it is probably the former.Once gain if anyone knows for sure do please get in touch.Height 49mm
Lastly is a silver and enamel Registered General Nurse Scotland badge, bearing the cross of St Andrew.This is named for E Copland A 36354 Makers mark for Hamilton & Inches E'burgh Hallmarked for H&I Birmingham 1955.Excellent condition with pin clasp and safety chain all good.
