A base metal Midwives badge from the Ayrshire Central Hospital Maternity Suite.This pattern of badge which features a mother and baby was first presented in May 1969 but this is the later pattern with the wording changed from Maternity Section to Maternity Suite. Unmarked to rear.The clasp has been replaced and it can be worn( however care should be taken if doing so) Height 34mm
