Nightingale School of Nursing,St Thomas' Hospital,Silver Nurses Badge in original leather presentation case

I am listing here, yet another example of one of the most sought after Nursing Badges ever issued,that of the Nightingale School of Nursing at St Thomas' Hospital.

This badge, which is in pristine untouched condition, is a superb example.It does not have any damage to the points of the cross as may often happen and other than a slightly bent pin appears not to have been worn.It is named on the rear to Emily Clarke 1895.(This would have been awarded retrospectively as the badge only came into being in 1925) It comes in it's own original leather box from John Pinches London on the silk lining , which has only minor scuffs to the base.The silk lining is in good undamaged condition.Please refer to photographs or request further details if required.
