Victoria Hospital Keighley,Silver Nurses badge

A superb Silver and enamel nurses badge from the Victoria Hospital Keighley. The central design features a Wolf's head in red enamel with the addition of a yellow snake ,associated with Medicine.This is based upon the arms of the Lupton Family, benefactors to a number of charities in Yorkshire.
Condition is very good with only minor enamel chips to a couple of areas near the rim .Pin,clasp and safety roller catch intact.Named for M Muir 1235-1939.Silver hallmarks for F&S Birmingham 1936
