Aintree Hospital,Nurses Badge

A brass and enamel badge for Aintree Hospital Liverpool.Formerly Fazakerley Sanatorium it was used as a TB hospital and I believe this badge was for Assistant Nurse training.The shield shape badge has a central tree on a blue and white background with the hospital title appearing on a gold border to the edge.Pin.clasp and safety roller catch all good.Engraved for R Davies Nov 1948.Height 36mm
