Royal College of Nursing Activist Badges

Three different badges issued by the Royal College of Nursing to their activists for their roles. The RCN finally became a Union during the early 70s and first set up a series of workplace representatives known as Stewards.The first badge is based up the sunburst members badge with the addition of a bar bearing Steward.The introduction of the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 also legislated for Representatives to address safety at work and the RCN had a very active and influential Health and Safety committee(I am biased as I served on it!).These versions of the Hands badges were introduced after 1984 for Steward and Safety Representative roles. A nice trio of badges not seen too often.
