A brass Nurses pendant type badge for the Swansea General & Eye Hospital. The medal is suspended from a plain brass pin back bar brooch.It bears an image of the original Hospital with the title on a banded belt to the edge.Below this is a scroll with the latin motto Amica Generis Humani- A friend to the human race.Inscribed on the back 246 B E Davies 4 Nov 1932. Condition is good although it has been over polished in the past.Height 50mm
