An enamelled Mental Nurses Badge for the Middlewood Hospital Sheffield.The hospital closed in 1996 and now houses a residential development.The badge features a central image of a Lamp of Learning between two trees(Middlewood?).Good overall condition but with several surface scratches.Pin and clasp intact.Engraved to the rear for S. Gambles( This is Susan Gamble nee Jones who is shown in the register as qualifying in 1966).Makers marks for Thomas Fattorini Ltd Regent Street Birmingham.Height 27mm
