A rare and impressive silver and enamel nurses badge for the Joyce Green Hospital near Dartford.The badge consists of a red enamel cross with birds to each quarter which are voided.The birds represent the Dartford Warbler of the area.To the centre is a blue enamel disc with Joyce Green Hospital around the edge.There are one or two scratches to this enamel but otherwise condition is generally good.Pin and clasp intact but bent.Marked silver.height 44mm A rather large and impressive badge.
