Territorial Army Nursing Service, Assorted Insignia.

A card mounted with several items of insignia relating to the Territorial Army Nursing Service. Initially formed as the Territorial; force Nursing service in 1908 it was reorganised in 1921 to become the Territorial Army Nursing service. The items are a silver (not marked) tippet badge featuring the crossed AAs of Queen Alexandra from its original ribbon.A rare large cap badge and two collar/tippet badges follow, with a rare pair of white metal T badges. there are also three bi- metal(officers) collar badges as well as one bronze version.A sweetheart type brooch in Mother of Pearl completes the badges and an original photograph shows how the badges would be worn on service.
