Kings College Hospital silver nurses badge

A silver nurses badge for Kings College Hospital London.It takes the same shape and form as the original Kings College Hospital Nurses League badge which was introduced in 1924.It has the lion above a crown on a book with the motto Sancte et Sapientur -with Holiness and with Wisdom . This version however does not have the green border and is in plain silver, possibly being a prize badge.Good condition with pin and clasp intact.Hallmarks for JAW & Co Birmingham 1930.height 30mm
