University College Hospital ,Nurses Silver Belt Buckle

A nice example of the UCH hallmarked silver belt buckle.It features the arms of the hospital with a viking type vessel bearing a coiled snake upon the sails.It also features a pair of Maple leaves and the motto Ratione Dirige Cursum, literally Govern your Course by Reason.Silver Finish with minor signs of wear and some scratches.It bears a hallmark to the front for Gd & Ws(Greenwood & Watts,Hampstead) 1934. A matching silver clasp is also present.
