A large and impressive badge from the Amersham & High Wycombe School of Nursing,dating to the 1970s.The oval chromed metal and enamel design features the Bohun Swan from the insignia of Buckinghamshire above that of a staff and spent with an open book denoting medicine and education.This is on a blue border with the school title on a red badge to the edge.Condition is very good with pin, clasp and safety roller catch all good.Makers mark for Thomas Fattorini Regent Street Birmingham,Inscribed for W F Higham 24.4.75.Height 49mm
