Dudley Road Hospital Birmingham , Nurses Badge

A brass, silver plated and enamel Nurses badge from the Dudley Road Hospital in Birmingham.The design features an arch shape above the letters DRH.This is based upon the long corridor of the hospital which was originally a quarter of a mile long with nine Nightingale ward blocks running off it.Condition is good although with some minor surface scratches and much of the plating is worn giving a brass finished appearance.Pin and clasp good.Marked to rear H Jukes 1942 .Height 34mm
