A lovely silver plated and enamel nurses badge for the Borough Hospital Southampton.Originally the Incorporation (Workhouse) Infirmary at Shirley Warren, it was renamed the Borough Hospital in 1930.The pattern of training school badge changed to this design of the Hampshire rose with a central crest of the coat of arms of Southampton.Good condition with some minor wear and surface scratches.Pin and clasp intact .Marked Firmin EPNS Height 29mm
