Moorfields Eye Hospital, Miniature Nurses badge

An unusual item which I have not yet been able to identify, named a miniature version of the Moorfields cross.
It features the bronze Maltese cross with the central boss blank surrounded by a band with Moorfields Eye Hospital, crowned by an imperial crown . Condition good ,pin and clasp good. Height only 40mm
