Guys Hospital, antique bronze prize medal

A 19th century bronze prize medal from Guys Hospital. The medal, engraved by J Warwick, features a seated female figure with three small children and the motto Dare Quam Accipere- To Give Rather Than to Receive.The reverse bears a laurel wreath above which is Guy's Hospital.The centre in unengraved. These medals were awarded as Medical prizes at the hospital and date to the mid 19th century.Height 43mm
