Two piece Silver Nurses Belt Buckle,Royal College of Nursing

A two piece hallmarked silver Nurses belt buckle relating to the Royal College of Nursing.Although it features emblems relating to the RCN crest, this was in fact privately produced rather than an official piece.
The design features a series of ornate leaves and scrolls and across the centre can be seen stars and suns which denote the day and night service of Nursing.A scroll bears the motto of the RCN, Tradimus Lampada- We hand on the Torch.Hallmarks to the clasp for PM Ltd Birmingham 1990 .Good condition with minimal surface rubbing.Clasp is good,Belt loops intact.Height 54mm Width 83mm
