The rear on the bronze bears the members name Hazel H Howlett and number 7111.This lady is recorded in the RBNA Directory as being registered in March 1927. She is shown as having worked at the Lingfield Epileptic Colony 1909-1912,Training at St James's Hospital Balham 1912-1915, Ingham Infirmary South Shields 1915-1919, Mildmay Nurses Home 1919-25, late residing in Lowestoft
The RBNA was the main body organising the fight for state registration of Nurses,led by Ethel Bedford Fenwick. These early membership badges were the voluntary precursor of the Later General Nursing Council Badges.Height 45mm
