Rainhill Hospital Merseyside,Asylum attendants badge pair

An unusual badge from Rainhill Hospital,in use prior to the formation of the School of Nursing in the 1960s.In a chromed metal which appears to have had a red paint applied, it was apparently issued to Asylum attendants who had worked at the hospital for 5 years.
