A scarce bronze and enamel Nurses badge from St James' Hospital Nursing School.Originally St James' Infirmary for Wandsworth Workhouse.The title had changed to St James' Hospital by 1920.The oval design features an embossed figure of St James with a staff and lantern .The hospital title is on a blue band around the edge.Some minimal surface wear and pin is loose but present, otherwise good condition.Engraved to rear M C Linekar 1921-1924 Height 37mm
