A silver and enamel nurses badge for the Corbett Hospital Stourbridge.Originally a large rundown house called the Hill at Amblecote near Stourbridge.It was renovated and donated to the community as a hospital by John Corbett, a local businessman associated with the salt industry.The central design features the Corbett coat of arms which features a Raven.The family motto Deus Pascit Corvos-God Feeds The Ravens.In very good condition with pin, clasp and safety roller catch all good.Engraved for S M Smith 1953 Silver hall marks for TF (Thomas Fattorini) Birmingham 1950
