A base metal and enamel Nurses badge from the St James's Hospital Leeds.The central motif depicts the crest of the city of Leeds with three owls and a shield bearing a fleece topped by three stars.The motto Pro Rege et Lege-For King and the Law.The hospital title appears on a blue enamel band around the edge.The condition is good with only one slight ding to the top by the letter S, the pin having been professionally replaced.Height 29mm
