A base metal and enamel nurses badge for Brighton Municipal Hospital.Originally the Workhouse Infirmary it was renamed The Municipal hospital in 1935 until it became the General Hospital in 1948.This badge dates to that period.It features a shield bearing the arms of Brighton above the motto In Deo Fidemus- We Trust in God.
