The Fountain & Queen Mary's Hospital For Children,RSCN badges

A pair of badges awarded to the same nurse for her RSCN training during the 1960s.The first is a chrome and enamel General Nursing Council For England & Wales badge, this being engraved for SK Shuard RSCN 19089 30.7.68.She is shown in the GNC Register as having trained at the Queen Mary's Hospital For Sick Children. Good condition with pin clasp and safety chain all good.Height 28mm

The second item is a badge for the Fountain & Queen Mary's Hospital For Children in base metal and enamel.This version of the badge combines the two previous separate Hospital Badges with emblems from each. The small child has a turtle on his back!
This is engraved for Shuard Susan Kathryn 19.10.64 to 18.6.68.Condiion is good with Pin clasp and safety roller catch all good.Height 32mm
