West Suffolk Hospital,Silver nurses badge

A nice solid Silver and enamel nurses badge from the West Suffolk Hospital located in Bury St Edmunds.It features the 3 crowns each pierced with two arrows of the towns crest,these commemorating the martyrdom of St Edmund being shot with arrows.The badge is in excellent condition with no damage to the enamel.Pin and clasp are intact and a safety chain is in situ. Badge is hallmarked for Thomas Fattorini,Birmingham 1979.Height 29mm
