A scarce silver & enamel badge for nurse registration in the Colony of Singapore.The oval pendant style badge depicts the figure of Hygeia within a pale blue border bearing The Nursing Board Colony of Singapore.This is suspended from a cruciform pin back bar which bear a lion rampart with flag, taken from the arms of the colony from 1946-57.Some damage to the edges of the enamel a pictured.Engraved to the rear 1830 Chew Cheh Koon Hallmarked for J R Gaunt & Sons Birmingham 1957 .Height 62mm
