Liverpool Nurses Training School ,Silver Nurses Badge

An early rare first pattern version of this popular silver badge from the Liverpool Royal Infirmary.It features the seven pointed star bearing the Liver Bird, this being suspended from a silver brooch bar with Liverpool Nurse Training School on the bar.Note ;this is the original wording in use from the late 19th Century on the first badges before it was changed to just Liverpool Royal Infirmary.It is also slighter smaller and a picture of both is included for comparison.This has a pin back fixing in good condition.Condition good but some minor surface scratches and minor wear .Hallmarks for F&S(Fattorini & Sons) Birmingham 1908 Width 45mm Height 24mm
