Royal Albert Hospital Lancaster, silver Learning Disabilities Nurses Badge

A silver and enamel badge for the Royal Albert Hospital NTS in Lancaster.On a Blue enamel shield it features the hospital building itself(closed in 1996 and now an Islamic girls school).In good condition except for some surface scratches,it has a buttonhole back fixing ,as issued to male nurses.It carries a makers mark for Thomas Fattorini Limited Birmingham and is hallmarked TF for Birmingham 1956.It is named for P.H.O.Harrison Feb 1972.Height 33mm
