Doncaster Royal Infirmary/GNC silver pair of nurses badges

A pair of badges awarded to the same nurse for her training at the Doncaster Royal Infirmary just prior to the Second World War.The first is a silver and enamel pendant badge ,the medal of which has a shield with the castle from the city's coat of arms on a red Geneva Cross.This hangs from a pin back suspension bar with Doncaster Royal Infirmary on. Condition ; Medal has some enamel loss as pictured, pin fixing and clasp are good.Silver safety chain in situ. Named for Iris Holmes May 1938.Hallmarks for JW Birmingham 1935.
The second item is a silver General Nursing Council for England & Wales badge named for I Holmes SRN 95851 25.11.38 very good condition
