Another variant of the Nurses badge for what was the Cleaver sanatorium for tuberculosis at Heswell in the Wirral.Named the Cleaver Hospital after the Clerk to the West Derby Board of Guardians, who was a driving force behind the Sanatorium.The badge features a Red Cross of Lorraine, the symbol of the anti Tuberculosis organisations, skewering the Wyvern with a six pointed star.Very good condition with pin and clasp good.Makers mark for Thomas Fattorini Regent Street Birmingham.height 39mm
