Naburn & Bootham Park Hospital Silver mental Nurses badge

A silver and enamel Mental nurses badge from the Naburn & Bootham Park Hospital York.The two hospitals were amalgamated in 1952 under a single Physician Attendant. It features a central motif of a white enamel rose of Yorkshire overlaid with a silver Lamp of Learning.This is in a voided centre with a band bearing the Hospital title in blue enamel.Condition is excellent with only minor surface scratches.Pin clasp and safety roller catch are all good.Silver hallmarks for Thomas Fattorini Birmingham 1955.Height 33mm
