High Royds Hospital Yorkshire,RMN badge
An original chrome and enamel badge for the High Royds Mental Hospital located near Leeds.Originally opened as the West Riding Pauper Lunatic Asylum in 1888,it was known as Menston Hospital between 1952 and 1963 before finally becoming High Royds Hospital until it's closure in 2003.
This badge which features the white Rose of Yorkshire is in good condition with enamel good except for veryminor nibbles to the edge.Pin and clasp are intact .Makers marks for Thomas Fattorini ,Regent Street Birmingham.Height 38mm
