A Chrome and enamel badge for the Menston Mental Hospital located near Leeds.Originally opened as the West Riding Pauper Lunatic Asylum in 1888,it was known as Menston Hospital between 1952 and 1963 before becoming High Royds Hospital until it's closure in 2003.
This badge which features the white Rose of Yorkshire is in very good condition with enamel good.Pin and clasp are intact .Makers marks for Thomas Fattorini Ltd,Regent Street Birmingham.Height 39mm
