Archway Group Whittington Hospital, Silver Nurses badge

A silver and enamel Nurses badge for the Whittington Hospital,Highgate London dating to the 1950s.It was then part the the Archway Group Hospital Management Committee and the badge features a design based upon the original Archway bridge,designed by John Nash in 1813.In good condition despite some surface chips and scratches to the enamel.Pin and clasp intact.It bears Chester Hallmarks for TJS (Thomas James Skelton,Birmingham)and year letter for 1957.A scarce and attractive badge.Height 27mm
