Luton And Dunstable Hospital,Nurses silver gilt prize medal
A silver gilt prize medal from the Luton and Dunstable Hospital.The face features a shield bearing the coat of arms of the hospital.This has a central rod of Asclepius with Fleur de Lys in quarters one and four, a sword with two keys imposed are in quarters two and three.A scroll with the motto; Deo operae scientiae que fisi-Our Faith is in God,Science and Devotion to Duty.This is suspended on an original blue with red stripes silk ribbon.Pin back bar suspension brooch in good order.The reverse is engraved ;Presented to J C Saunders Student Nurse June 1979 by the Friends of the Hospitals Luton & Dunstable.Hallmarks for T&S Birmingham 1976 Height 90mm
