Luton & Dunstable Hospital/GNC pair with Plated Buckle
Three items from the same nurses career ,being a silver and enamel pendant badge for the Luton and Dunstable Hospital.The badge features a shield bearing the coat of arms of the hospital.This has a central rod of Asclepius with Fleur de Lys in quarters one and four, a sword with two keys imposed are in quarters two and three.A scroll with the motto; Deo operae scientiae que fisi-Our Faith is in God,Science and Devotion to Duty. This hangs from an enamel pin back brooch bar bearing Luton and Dunstable hospital.Pin and clasp are good.Marked Silver.
The second item is a chrome and enamel General Nursing Council for England & Wales Hygeia badge.In good condition with pin and clasp intact .Named to reverse HR Spencer SRN 319686 3.12.62.
The last item is this nurses chromed Belt buckle and petersham belt.This swirling pattern buckle was advertised in the Nursing journals of the time, available to purchase in silver, silver plate and brass.
