A silver and enamel badge for the Falmouth & Barncoose Hospitals from the1960s.It features a Greek cross in silver with a green enamel border.A central boss features a shield with the arms of the Duchy of Cornwall,also in green.
Falmouth General and Barncoose Hospital in Redruth(originally the Workhouse) were training schools for Enrolled Nurse training.Condition has some wear but generally good, pin and clasp intact.Silver hallmarks for V&S(Vaughton & Sons) Birmingham 1969 Height 40mm
