Nightingale School of Nursing St Thomas's Hospital,Cased Silver Nurses Badge(Wardman)

Another beautiful silver and enamel nurses badge from the Florence Nightingale School of Nursing of St Thomas' Hospital with it's contemporary original leather presentation case.Demand for these remains high and I'm afraid the price reflects this demand and my purchase cost.

The enamel on this badge is in excellent original condition with only minimal damage to four of the tips of the cross
The pin, and clasp are good but slightly loose. It is engraved to the rear Nightingale School St Thomas Hospital Vera G R Wardman 1925 (Vera Gwendolen Roma Wardman is shown as being registered as SRN 38290 on 17.7.25 having trained at St Thomas 1922-25)
Although not marked as such I know that these were silver.
The case is in very good condition with only small scuffs to the edges and base.
