A scarce base metal nurses badge for the Mid Glamorgan School of Nursing.The design has central device of five stars on a blue background edged with a yellow band.I understand this may represent the five hospitals within the group school and the uniform colour of the students.This is topped by an open book of Learning with the lamp of Learning topped by the Welsh dragon The whole is surrounded by a Laurel wreath.
Condition is good with pin clasp and safety Rolle catch are all good .Makers mark for Toye.Height 32mm
