A base metal and enamel nurses badge from the Westminster Children's Hospital in Vincent Square,Westminster.Originally named the Infants Hospital it was renamed the Westminster Children's Hospital in 1946 until it's closure in 1995.
The badge features the swaddled baby on a blue background,taken from the original 15th Century plaques on the Foundling Hospital in Florence.Condition generally good with minimal wear to the plated finish.See pictures The pin and clasp are a temporary replacement.Marked to rear Thomas Fattorini Regent Street Birmingham.Height 36mm
