Nightingale School of Nursing St Thomas's Hospital,Cased Silver Nurses Badge(

Another beautiful silver and enamel nurses badge from the Florence Nightingale School of Nursing of St Thomas' Hospital with it's contemporary original leather presentation case.Demand for these remains high and I'm afraid the price reflects this demand and my purchase cost.

The enamel on this badge is in excellent condition
The pin, and clasp are good with a safety clasp in situ. It is engraved to the rear Nightingale School E.Maud Sinton 1931 (Elizabeth Maud Sinton is shown as being registered as SRN 60000 on 26.6.31 having trained at St Thomas 1927-30,she later married and settled in County Down)
Although not marked as such I know that these were silver.
The case is in very good condition
