A pair of badges awarded to the same nurse for her training in the 1930s.The first is a nurses badge for the Royal Victoria Hospital Folkestone.The small pendant badge is suspended from a brass safety pin type fixing It takes the form of a blue enamelled shield with a crown, bearing RVHF .Named to the rear for DMER 1932-1935. Height 42mm
Accompanying this is a silver and enamel General Nursing Council for England & Wales badge, named for D M E Rudgard SRN 78126 28.06.35 ( This is Doris May Evelyn Rudgard shown on the register as having trained at RVHF from 1932-35)
