A silver and enamel Nurses badge from the North Devon Infirmary in Barnstaple.The central design consists of a Castle of three towers, taken from the arms of the town.The hospital closed in the late 1970s and this badge dates to the 1950s.In very good condition with minimal surface wear.Pin and clasp good and safety chain in situ. Marked to rear BK Stowell SRN 1950-1954.Hallmarked for D&T Birmingham 1950 Width 33mm Height 24mm
