A scarce silver and enamel nurses badge for the Belvidere Hospital Glasgow.Originally an Infectious Diseases Hospital it was later to become a geriatric hospital before it's closure in 1999.The design consists of a St Andrews Cross on which a laurel wreath and thistle are imposed.Very good overall condition with pin clasp and safety roller catch all good.Silver hallmarks for Edwards & Sons,Birmingham 1960 height 26mm
