Nightingale School of Nursing St Thomas's Hospital,Cased Silver Nurses Badge(Lock)

Another beautiful silver and enamel nurses badge from the Florence Nightingale School of Nursing of St Thomas' Hospital with it's contemporary original leather presentation case.Demand for these remains high and I'm afraid the price reflects this demand and my purchase cost.

The enamel on this badge is in excellent condition with only minute enamel loss to two tips of the crosses
The pin, and clasp are good It is engraved to the rear Nightingale School C May Lock 1928( this is Cecil May Lock who is shown on the GNC register as having trained at St Thomas's from 1925-28.She later Married and As C M Smith appears tohave spent the war years in Northern Rhodesia)
Although not marked as such I know that these were silver.
The case is in Good condition.
This is accompanied by the matching silver and enamel General Nursing Council For England & Wales badge ,engraved for C M Lock SRN 22.6.28.In excellent condition with pin clasp and safety chain all good.
